A greenhouse only delivers on its business case if it is grown well, so handover is the start of the relationship rather than the end. DutchGreenhouses® draws on a large network of qualified, experienced growers who provide interim management for greenhouses around the world. For a starting operation, this pool is invaluable: with every new project we assign a selected grower who helps set up the company, establish cultivation protocols and get the growing process running correctly from day one.

This interim greenhouse management is a proven way to transfer knowledge to local growers and staff. Across the first cultivation year, the Dutch grower explains and demonstrates every task — growing strategy, crop registration, labour planning and the day-to-day organisation of the greenhouse. Working shoulder to shoulder with the local team through a full season ensures the facility will be operated correctly in the years that follow, long after the interim manager has moved on.

To support cultivation over the longer term, DutchGreenhouses® also runs structured coaching programs built around a “buddy” system. A dedicated Dutch greenhouse coach follows your operation remotely, monitoring the data and steering the crop where needed. Your local management can consult their coach at any time — to ask questions, get advice on climate or irrigation strategy, or work through hands-on issues as they arise. The result is a gradual, deliberate transfer of expertise: your team gains confidence and autonomy season by season, while always having an experienced grower to lean on.
